I have been doing the rounds of Banshee, Rhythmbox etc and they annoy me because they don’t have the features I love in madman.
I just attempted an apt-get install madman in Ubuntu and it complains of there being no xmms install candidate. So my vote is definitely to code madman up for a newer audio player.
Madman really is the one music manager to rule them all.
